This course is intended for delegates from all industry sectors who are considering implementing an EMS or who are responsible for its management.

Course Overview
At the end of this course, delegates should: -

• Be familiar with the background to the development of EMS standards (ISO14001 and EMAS), and understand the business benefits of implementing a certified EMS
• Understand the structure of an EMS as specified in ISO14001, and know how it should be implemented, audited and reviewed for the continual improvement of the environmental performance of their organisation
• Be able to evaluate how well their organisation’s current activities meets the requirements of ISO14001
